Limitation of imported goods and Protective tariffs are based on the premise that: searching for the best satisfaction at the least cost— is Destructive! Negotiating voluntary agreements and trading with people in other States is a Constitutional Right. Gibbons versus Ogden was instigated by my hero: “Commodore” Cornelius Vanderbilt. Trading with people in other countries is Un Examples of this government policy which we repudiated in the Declaration of Independence, include the government franchised British East India Company and the Salt Tax. The earnings of productive citizens and patriotic soldiers, who fought for the honor of their country, were sacrificed and slaughtered on the altar of patriotism. This power had been abused in 1828 and 1832. When rebellious victims refused to pay that extortion, President Lincoln attempted to blockade the only portals to freedom from this tyranny by democratic majority. The United States military, which had previously fought to gain American Freedom from British domination, destroyed those Southern victims who dared to peacefully cecede from the Union, which they joined— to free themselves from this same oppression! Thaddeus Stevens was the incarnation of Judas Iscariot and Brutus. His industrial exploitation was not “Capitalism.” The Morrill Tariff was enforced by the Federal military rapier, to achieve his Market dominance. Identify the principles which were adopted: to achieve peaceful social co Government is the problem! Identify destructive principles and show examples of the harmful consequences. Challenge political opponents to propose legislation which explicitly applies the disputed principles. Publicize any attempt to enact ambiguous legislation. Do not allow irrelevant clap-trap to obscure the principles which are applied in legislation! Repudiate destructive principles! Earn the enthusiastic endorsement of supporters who have been exhausted by entrapment and eclectic incompetence!
